Godfrey Tumwizere is a seasoned Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Expert with extensive experience designing, managing, and evaluating SRHR and public health programs in Uganda. He specializes in adolescent SRHR, maternal health, gender equality, and protection programming, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex evaluations and studies for international NGOs, donor-funded initiatives, and government-led projects.

Godfrey is pursuing a PHD in Public Health, and has a Master’s degree in Population and Reproductive Health from Makerere University. With over seven years of consultancy experience, he has successfully delivered high-impact assignments for organizations such as Plan International, World Vision, Lutheran World Federation, and FOWODE, producing evidence-based insights that have informed policy, improved service delivery, and strengthened community-based interventions. He is highly skilled in mixed-methods research, participatory evaluation approaches, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that findings are both technically rigorous and contextually relevant.

His work reflects a strong commitment to gender-responsive, inclusive, and youth-centered health services, with a focus on reducing teenage pregnancies, enhancing adolescent autonomy, and addressing sexual and gender-based violence.
